# What is $MODELA

$MODELA is the native utility token of the Modela ecosystem. It powers the platform’s core functions, incentivizes participation, and aligns the interests of developers, creators, and compute providers.

#### Why $MODELA Matters

Modela is built on a decentralized and incentive-driven system. $MODELA is the economic engine that keeps that system running — rewarding contributions, enabling access to enhanced features, and creating long-term alignment between users and the platform.

#### Key Functions of $MODELA

* **Generation Access**\
  Use $MODELA to unlock higher-quality, faster, or priority 3D asset generation.
* **Creator Rewards**\
  Creators who generate top-tier assets are rewarded in $MODELA based on quality and performance.
* **Compute Compensation**\
  Render nodes that process generation requests earn $MODELA for their contribution of GPU resources.
* **Ecosystem Growth**\
  As usage increases, so does the circulation of $MODELA, driving platform growth and reinvestment.
* **Future Governance** *(if planned)*\
  $MODELA may eventually support governance or community-driven development proposals.
